Indoor Tabi

The Japanese Tabi is designed for indoor activities such as Traditional Martial Arts (Iaido, Kyudo, Ninpo/Ninjutsu, Kobudo, Jujutsu, etc.), as well as Tea Ceremony, Ikebana, and semi-formal to formal social and religious ceremonies. Some people enjoy wearing Tabi when relaxing at home, for no particular activity.
 
This Tabi has a thick sole, heavy-duty stitching, and a thick cotton cloth cover for the foot. It is fastened with 4 (regular design) or 7 (Superior Quality--Indigo Dye) traditional Japanese fastening pins (see photos).
